Troubleshooting Autodraw

        Promlem during startup

If nothing shows up in the list box and text box check the Autodraw.ini file by opening it with Notepad to see that the second line is the name of the Startup File "aw.lsp".

The file Autodraw.ini should look like:

        Autodraw.ini file

This file saves the names of My File and the Startup File. Initially My File is "my.lsp" and the Startup file is "aw.lsp". Ignore the third line in the file.

Autocad won't start with the Start Autocad submenu in the File menu

Open the Options Dialog by clicking the Options menu.

Change the text in the text boxes to be appropriate for running and accessing Autocad on your computer.

Problem loading the Startup File into Autocad

Note: Clicking the Load Startup File button activates Autocad to load the startup file.

        1. Clicking the Load Startup File button again may be successful.

        2. Alt-Tab to running Autocad and back to Autodraw and try again.

        3. Check if the Startup File is present on the hard drive and its name is visible in the Startup File text box.

Files load but commands do not run
